Mithoefer Dorsets started in 1991 on a farm of 238 acres in Indiana. By adding new facilities and purchasing very select sheep, we have one of the top flocks of Dorsets in the United States.
Our flock now consists of only choice ewes from our own championship bloodlines and from two of the top flocks in the United States! The Fitch flock from Oregon and the Green Mountain flock from Vermont provide a strong consistent genetic base for our current flock. We have been extremely pleased with the offspring from this breeding combination.
